Sandwell Council, together with TR Partnership Homes Ltd, has delivered 15 new affordable council homes in Hawes Lane, Rowley Regis.

This latest affordable housing development comprises a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom houses, two-bedroom bungalows and one-bedroom apartments.

They provide high-quality homes to meet growing local demand. People on the council’s housing waiting list will rent the new homes.

The properties have been designed to provide safe and comfortable living for individuals and families, with sustainable measures supporting energy efficiency and cheaper bills.

Sandwell Council’s Leader Councillor Ray Nock said: “I am pleased to see these new homes built to very good modern standards. They will provide much-needed affordable homes for people on Sandwell’s housing waiting list, and they are part of our wider programme of building new council homes.”

Councillor Ken Parsons, Sandwell Council’s Cabinet Member for Housing, added: “These properties provide homes that contribute to tackling the housing crisis. They also help build a stronger, more inclusive community with adapted properties helping to address tenants’ specific needs.”

Josh Skidmore, Co-Founder and Co-Managing Director at TR Partnership Homes Ltd, said: “We’re delighted to have worked in partnership with Sandwell Council to deliver these 15 high-quality new council homes at Hawes Lane. This development is a great example of how effective collaboration can create much-needed affordable housing that meets the needs of local people, while also delivering homes that are energy efficient and built with the future in mind.

“We’re proud to have played our part in delivering a mix of homes that will provide safe, comfortable and sustainable places to live for individuals and families. We look forward to future opportunities to work with Sandwell Council to support the delivery of high-quality affordable homes for local communities.”

The properties feature the latest technology including the use of air source heat pumps, photovoltaic solar panels and electrical vehicle charging.
