It’s a Hat Trick! – Third Major Industry Award for Dale Wyatt

Dale Wyatt, who takes early retirement from Suzuki GB PLC this month is celebrating a third major Automotive industry accolade, this time the highly coveted President‘s Award – Outstanding Contribution to the Motor Industry was presented to Dale at the Institute of The Motor Industry (IMI) Annual Dinner held in London on 12th March.

The Award was presented by IMI President Professor Jim Saker whose speech included: This recognition is a reflection on your outstanding contribution to the automotive industry and the impact you have made in advancing innovation, leadership and inclusion across the sector. ‘‘Your success reflects the spirit of the President’s Award – championing excellence, professionalism and unwavering commitment to the future of our industry’’

Commenting further, Professor Saker said: ‘‘Your work not only sets a benchmark for others to follow but also highlights the critical importance of leadership and inclusion in driving the sector forward’’

Dale Wyatt was awarded a third major accolade for his success, strong relationships with the Suzuki dealer network, leadership and high reputation across the entire automotive industry that has spanned more than 35 years; Dale has been in senior positions with Suzuki since 2007 and is now taking early retirement although will remain active as a consultant in the automotive industry.

Commenting on his third industry accolade in just six months, Dale comments: ‘‘I am delighted, humbled and very proud to be the recipient of the IMI Presidents Award. Many thanks to everyone at the institute and the wider automotive industry for this further strong recognition and I hope to work with you again at some point in the future”
