Wolverhampton Business Week 2025 (22-26 September) will provide opportunities to learn how emerging technologies can support and grow the city’s businesses.
University of Wolverhampton’s Professor Zeeshan Pervez is hosting a session on the use of AI to boost cyber resilience, at Wolverhampton Science Park (WV10 9RU), on Monday, between 11am and 12pm.
Later that day ForUsAll Art & Media have teamed up with ArtEng and the University of Wolverhampton for an event at The Elite Centre for Manufacturing Centre, Springfield Campus (WV10 0JR), where businesses can discover how 3D printing is transforming both manufacturing and the creative arts.
Taking place between 2pm and 4pm, delegates will get insights from sculptor Wendy Bennett and casting expert Kevin Smith of Digital Manufacturing Technologies Ltd.
Wolverhampton’s game changing Green Innovation Corridor (GIC) will – with its focus on green construction, computing and engineering – provide a platform where emerging technologies can thrive in an ecosystem of innovative businesses, entrepreneurs and academics with access to the city’s distinctive R&D and skills offer.
To find out more about the GIC head to the School of Architecture & Built Environment, Springfield Campus, on Wednesday 24 September between 8am and 9.30am, where the Black Country’s Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors Local Member Group will lead a panel discussion and networking breakfast about it.

On Monday, between 12.30pm and 2.30pm, FBC Manby Bowdler Solicitors and Azets Accountants & Business Advisors are running an exclusive event on succession planning for business owners ‘Future Proof Your Business: Planning Strategies to Help You Move Forward with Confidence’, at Azets, St David’s Court, Union Street, Wolverhampton, WV1 3JE.
Their team of legal, tax, and business advisory experts will cover key topics including protecting your business and personal wealth, tax efficient succession strategies, preparing for leadership transitions, and navigating the changing tax landscape.
City of Wolverhampton College and Innovate UK will be at the Ignite Hub, i10, Railway Drive, on Wednesday, between 12pm and 2pm, hosting a hands on masterclass led by Dr. Sage Lal, focused on helping businesses unlock the potential of AI.
Expert tips to future proof marketing using AI, video, SEO and inclusive design are also available from the Creative Chain, at the National Brownfield Institute, Springfield Campus, on Thursday, from 8.30am to 12.30pm.
