Sandwell residents asked to give feedback on pharmacies

Sandwell residents are being asked to share their opinions about local pharmacy services.

This feedback will help Sandwell Council to update the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA). This report looks at what pharmacy services people in Sandwell need, where pharmacies are located, what they offer, and if anything is missing. It also suggests ways to improve pharmacy services.

Sandwell Council’s Cabinet Member for Adult Services, Health and Wellbeing, Councillor Jackie Taylor, said:

“The feedback from this survey helps us to make sure there are enough pharmacies in Sandwell offering the services people need. Residents may not know what provision is available from pharmacies that they can get instead of waiting for a GP appointment and we would like to understand how many residents are aware of this service and use it or, if not, why not?”

“Pharmacies are important for keeping our community healthy. I encourage everyone in Sandwell to take the survey and share their views about local pharmacies and the services they provide.”

To have your say, please complete the online questionnaire.

All responses are anonymous and confidential. For any queries, including a request of a paper copy of the PNA report or survey, please email us.

The deadline for completing the questionnaire is Friday 7 February 2025.
