Plenty on offer at Walsall Leisure Centres this half-term

Interactive water feature at Darlaston swimming and fitness centre

Various sessions are being held between Monday 17 February and Sunday 23 February, including public swimming sessions at Bloxwich and Oak Park Active Living Centres and Walsall Gala and Darlaston Swimming and Fitness Centres.

Ever-popular Big Bounce events will be held on Tuesday 18 February at Bloxwich Active Living and Friday 21 February at Oak Park, pre-booking online for these sessions is recommended.

There will even be roller-skating sessions on offer, firstly at Oak Park on Wednesday 19 February from 1.30pm to 3:00pm, Followed by session at Bloxwich Active Living on Thursday 20 February from 10am to 12pm. Roller skating is suitable for all ages, with the sessions costing £6.70 per person, skate hire is available by cash payment only.

“ Half-term is always a busy time at our leisure centres in Walsall, and we have so much going on.

“The fantastic range of activities available in our leisure centres means you can have a whole day of fun-filled activities in one location. All our offers support our efforts to help residents live healthy and happy lives.

“I would encourage residents to book their places now as they always get full very quickly. “

Pool fun sessions with floats and inflatables will be take place across all four centres. Days and times can be found on the timetable page at https://go.walsall.gov.uk/sport-and-leisure/timetables

Sports halls at Bloxwich and Oak Park Active Living Centres are also available for badminton at £7.50 per court before 5pm Monday to Friday.
