Two men talking in Walsall town centre

The partners behind We Are Walsall 2040 have launched a new website and LinkedIn account to support the borough’s ambitious collective long-term vision for the borough.

Partners include Walsall Council, the Black Country Chamber of Commerce, the NHS, Federation of Small Businesses, Walsall College, Walsall Community Network, Walsall Football Club, West Midlands Fire Service, West Midlands Police, whg, and the University of Wolverhampton.

“ This new website and LinkedIn account will help showcase our collective vision and provide residents and businesses with the information they need to participate actively in shaping Walsall’s future.

“There are exciting times ahead for the borough and our shared vision will ensure that everyone in Walsall has the opportunity to prosper. We Are Walsall 2040 has been shaped by the voices of more than 10,000 residents, businesses, and organisations, and the result is a strategy that reflects the aspirations and priorities of the people who live, work, and invest in Walsall. “

Councillor Garry Perry
Leader of Walsall Council
“ This initiative sets out key ambitions for the borough, focused on strengthening communities, improving health and wellbeing, driving economic growth, and creating a borough that residents are proud to call home.
“I’m delighted that the website and LinkedIn account are now live, and I hope that residents, businesses and stakeholders will explore the strategy, track progress, and find out how they can get involved in We Are Walsall 2040. “
