Lakeside Live Festival returns to Walsall Arboretum for a free day of music and fun

Lakeside Live festival returns to Walsall on Sunday 17 August 2025, promising a day of electrifying performances, family-friendly fun, and diverse food options, all completely free to attend.

The annual community music festival will take from 12:00pm to 6:00pm at the Walsall Arboretum Bandstand.

The line-up of this year’s festival features 20 local acts, showcasing a vibrant mix of genres including rock, funk, reggae, folk, and blues. Fun-seekers can look forward to performances from contemporary folk singer Aayushi, live music from Ancient Champion Notion of Fortune, the Goddam Band, and Midnight Crossing.

“ We are proud to bring back the Lakeside Live Festival this summer. Last year, we had a fantastic turnout and this year, the event will provide a platform for emerging artists and bring more music lovers together for an unforgettable experience. I encourage you all to come out, enjoy the weather, music, and community spirit together. “

Councillor Gary Flint, Portfolio Holder for Culture, Health and Wellbeing at Walsall Council

In addition to the musical performances, festival-goers can look forward to a variety of food and beverage options to satisfy every craving, including merchandise from their favourite bands. Whether you’re a die-hard rock fan or simply looking for a fun day out with the family, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
