Over 80 volunteers undertook a huge community clean up and the volunteers filled over 300 refuse sacks but also discovered discarded plastic, sofas and even a fridge freezer. Many volunteers had travelled from as far as London, Bristol and Plymouth. Over 100 residents and school children attended two creative workshops to take part in an in-depth discussion to shape the new Eco-Park. UK motorists will be protected at the pumps under tough new powers that will shine a light on any attempt from retailers to unfairly hike up fuel prices.
