Bids open for one-of-12 Bentley Mulsanne Grand Limousine, Your Excellency

Collecting Cars has opened bidding for one of the rarest modern Bentleys ever built — a one-of-12 2016 Mulsanne Grand Limousine, which cost in excess of seven figures when new.

Understood to be one of just 12 examples produced by Bentley’s Mulliner division, this extraordinary limousine is a showcase in the art of the possible when it comes to bespoke coachbuilding in the modern day. Originally developed as a one-off commission, the Grand Limousine was later offered to a handful of handpicked customers in the region, each car finished to a unique specification. This example is presented in Rubino Red over Light Gazelle, a sophisticated two-tone finish that perfectly complements the car’s elongated silhouette.

With a 1,000mm wheelbase extension and a 79mm taller roofline, the Grand Limousine offers an entirely different dimension of comfort and presence. Inside, it features six individual seats — each with its own climate zone — and a rear cabin trimmed in Twine hide with Burr Walnut veneers. The front section is finished in Fireglow leather, giving the driver’s area its own unique character.

True to Bentley Mulliner form, the rear compartment is a showcase of bespoke luxury: an electrochromic privacy partition with adjustable opacity, twin drinks chillers with Bentley crystal tumblers and flutes, fold-out tray tables, massage functions, an intercom system, and a trio of classic gauges displaying time, exterior temperature and GMT. Overhead, a quilted headliner is split by a wood-veneered central spine housing lighting and controls — a design touch found only on this variant.

Powered by Bentley’s 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V8, the rear-wheel drive limo has 505bhp and 752lb-ft of torque and an eight-speed automatic gearbox. This one-of-12 example has covered just 7,136 kilometres from new, and benefits from an extended Bentley warranty valid until March 2027. It was most recently serviced by Bentley Abu Dhabi in May 2025 at 7,100 km, and is reported to remain in outstanding mechanical and cosmetic condition.

This Grand Limousine rides on factory 21-inch wheels with Dunlop tyres and is equipped with a Naim for Bentley sound system, multi-zone climate control, cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, a rotating central display and an electrically operated boot lid.

Accompanying the car are the original owner’s book pack, trickle charger, two Bentley umbrellas and multiple sets of wireless headphones.

Offered now via Collecting Cars in the United Arab Emirates, this is a rare opportunity to acquire one of Bentley’s most exclusive modern creations — a car rumoured to have cost a seven-figure sum when new and still capable of commanding values in excess of $600,000 today.
