“ Walsall is a borough with a rich, diverse community. From our beautiful green spaces to visitor attractions, there is lots to explore and love, not only on Valentine’s Day but every day of the year. “

Councillor Gary Flint, Portfolio Holder for Health and Wellbeing at Walsall Council

Walsall boasts of 43 parks and green spaces, offering easy access to nature. One of its biggest attractions is Walsall Arboretum, covering 170 acres of land and home to over 10,000 shrubs and trees. In 2024, 11 parks in the borough received the prestigious Green Flag Award.

2. Arts, culture, and leisure. Walsall boasts a variety of attractions from The New Art Gallery Walsall, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, the Leather Museum, and Walsall Arena for performing arts, as well as four leisure centres located across the borough.
